The folks at Zynga give you the opportunity to buy Limited Edition Loot and change the offering every few days. If you haven't read my article on Explaining attack and defense....., Please scan that before proceeding.... For low level players this is an opportunity to get premium Vehicles, Armor and Weapons with out trading, doing jobs or attacking. But not all Limited Edition Loot is the same or worth purchasing. Do you want: To be attacked less, Spend Less time Building your Mafia, Make sure you character is stronger in the future, and Waste less money? Then this is important: While you should always buy a Mafia Mikes as soon as you get each pair of new mafia family members.... DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY BUY LIMITED EDITION LOOT..... LET ME STATE THAT AGAIN! DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY BUY LIMITED EDITION LOOT..... But most Limited Edition Loot is not a premium item and not worth the it! A premium item is an item with an offensive or defensive value that is equal to or better then those you can aquire through purchase or loot drop/trade. At present you are not allowed to trade crate items so as far as we are concerned Premium Items from a loot drop, or purchase are:
Which may be sound very easy but when you grow your Mafia to 501 members to fight you are going to want to strive to have premium offensive and defensive items for all of them when attacking or defending. Since no weapon, armor or vehicle is premium for both Attack and Defense an inventory of premium items for 501 mafia members would be 3006 items!
Now that does not mean you can't have items that are good on both sides of the equation like Police Cruisers and Armored Limos. But we are talking about getting something that is not easy to get.... Premium and above premium items!!!! But everyone wants them so they are tougher to trade for, they drop alot less in fights and they require alot of energy to attain. And if you are below the Underboss level you don't even get them to drop. Here's the thing also if you do buy less then premium Limited Edition Loot Items later on you will just need to trade for more items to replace them. And you can't trade them away or even ge the pittance of money you spent on them back!!!! So what do you do?????? Here's the Good news: while this is not a rule set in stone I have never seen Zynga go more then 4 offers in a row without having Limited Edition Loot Item that at least matched a Premium Offense or Defense Value. When an item that is offered which is equal to or better then a premium item Thats the time to buy! Buy as many as you can, up to 501 of course.
