PROJECT MANAGER / DEVELOPER VIDEO NETWORK SERVICES, INC., SCARSDALE, NY
Primary area of responsibility is oversight of VNS projects. This includes participation in the preliminary phase of software projects with VNS staff and customer principals to insure that design goals are adequately defined. During the project development phase it requires maintaining an open dialogue between VNS and the client in order to implement changes required by either party so that the final product will meet client needs and expectations. Areas addressed are to project cost, contract target dates and program content. The final product is carefully reviewed to verify that it is properly installed and configured on the clients' system and that key personnel have been provided with adequate instruction and documentation to use it effectively.

PRESIDENT SOLUTIONS TECHNOLOGY GROUP, RIDGEFIELD, CT
Founder and president of a computer services company whose goal is to make technology available and affordable for small business clients. This has been accomplished using a core employee group in collaboration with a network of computer professionals who bring their specialized talents to more complex projects. Since this structure produces a minimal overhead charge for access to very talented individuals, it is possible to offer services to companies were cost has previously kept them out of the market. While a wide variety of services are available, the primary focus of the business has been to provide powerful data solutions. Complex Quattro Pro spreadsheet applications, which are both menu and macro driven have been created. Visual Basic has been used as to produce stand-alone programs or as an interface for Excel or Access applications. Setup and configuration of both peer and server based networking systems are also among the services offered.

CONSULTANT WESTINGHOUSE/GE, EATON INDUSTRIES
Provided both technical and management expertise to facilitate delivery of projects which had encountered difficulties in design, manufacture and testing. Assumed responsibility for all phases of project management (design and manufacturing) for contracts assigned. Successfully re-designed and provided in depth engineering analysis of instruments which had failed to meet required contract design specifications. Directly responsible for design drawings and subsequent manufacture of all components. Provided detailed procedures and direct oversight of both preproduction and manufacturing tests performed to demonstrate compliance with contract specifications. Extensive use was made of Computer Aided Design (Drawings and Stress Analysis) and Computer Aided Machining (Production of component parts). Personally generated computer programs using QuickBasic that performed data acquisition, subsequent data analysis and produced formatted data sheets for both preproduction and manufacturing tests.

PROGRAM MANAGER PEERLESS NUCLEAR CORP., STAMFORD, CT
Total responsibility for all phases of projects assigned. This includes review of contract specifications, preparation of quotes, participation in technical negotiations, preparation of project schedules, design and development of products, preparation of drawings, procedures and reports, manufacture, testing and delivery of products. Created the software for computer analysis and reporting of test data and implemented the same on the navy nuclear product line. Direct supervision of projects having a total value in excess of five million dollars.

PROJECT ENGINEER EATON/CONSOLIDATED CONTROLS, DANBURY, CT Specialized in the development of instrumentation to monitor pressure, differential pressure, flow, level, temperature and position in naval shipboard power plants. Responsible for all phases of projects assigned. Worked closely with production departments within the company and also with outside vendors to develop new products and manufacturing techniques. Implemented the use of QuickBasic programs and Lotus Spreadsheets to perform data acquisition. Developed an extensive knowledge of government specifications and became adept at dealing with bureaucratic red tape. ENGINEER Participated in the design, testing and production of instruments for naval shipboard power plants. Performed detailed design calculations and prepared reports in support of new products being developed for the government. Created a number of programs to perform design and data analysis using Fortran and Basic programming languages and obtained customer approval for their use. Represented the company in field service and product presentations.

ENGINEERING AIDE
Developed procedures and performed tests for products being developed. Acted as a liaison to provide technical support for Manufacturing and Quality Control departments.

Responsible for production and development work performed on the instrument product line. Allocated department resources in the support of engineering, manufacturing and quality control departments.

R & D TECHNICIAN
Performed development tests and generated reports for the engineering department. Assisted the manufacturing department during production start up for new designs.

ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN COBER ELECTRONICS, STAMFORD, CT Involved in the construction and testing of prototype, high tech equipment for clients such as Hughes Aircraft.

ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN U.S. NAVY, VARIOUS DUTY STATIONS
Testing and support of shipboard electronic equipment. Assigned to the electronics countermeasures group that maintained equipment for fast attack submarines.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND AFFILIATIONS

Developer/Owner of a consulting firm which makes complex data solutions available to small business clients. Personally responsible for development and support of software used for payroll, 401K and payment of sales commissions. Program manager for multi-million dollar contracts with General Electric and Westinghouse. This includes review of contract specifications, preparation of quotes, participation in technical negotiations, preparation of project schedules, product development and manufacturing. Simply stated, it meant taking ideas and seeing them through to a deliverable product. Working as a consultant, assumed responsibility for multi-million dollar projects that had encountered serious problems in development and testing. Able to develop alternative designs and test techniques which resulted in successful completion of all projects. While working in engineering, consistently looked at software solutions to obtain data and carry out complex calculations with a high degree of accuracy. Created and implemented computer programs which performed engineering analysis, assisted in data acquisition and evaluated test results.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Extensive experience at all levels of project management, which includes programs developed for major corporations as well as small business. Demonstrated ability to turn programs around which were in serious trouble. A through understanding of what is required to integrate software solutions in all types of corporate environments. This is based on experience, familiarity with programming languages, and a strong background in mathematics.
